Heini Riitahuhta graduated from Aalto University, Ceramic and Glass Design department in 2002 and now works as an independent artist.
She is a versatile designer known internationally and has received recognition for her work in countries such as Japan.
She has collaborated with the Finnish brand Lapuan Kankurit and they share same values: respect for the nature and strive for beauty and simplicity in design.
Her inspiration for design flows from her childhood memories of her grandmother in the her garden, surrounded by the smells of the earth and the flowers.
